Gary Van Johnson Memorial

We fondly remember Gary Van Johnson, a beloved member of our community, who passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC. Born on October 27, 1951, in Burlington, VT, Gary was the son of the late Orion Johnson and Frances DeMelia Johnson. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion.

In honor of Gary's remarkable life, we invite you to join us in continuing his legacy by making a lasting impact on children with special needs. Throughout his lifetime, Gary witnessed firsthand the transformative work of the American Autism & Rehabilitation Foundation. In accordance with the family's wishes, we kindly request memorial contributions be made to the Foundation. By doing so, we can ensure that Gary's memory lives on through the vital services and support provided to children with special needs. Together, we can bring hope and make a difference in their lives.
